Recovery Plan for PIPSC
Our union is in a critical state and in complete disarray.
It is urgent that we undertake a comprehensive and thorough review of our organization to save it.
Introduction
The past few years have been marked by significant issues, including a dysfunctional Board of Directors, acts of intimidation, abuses of power, financial irregularities, an exodus of our employees, a decline in services, lawsuits, and a cumulative financial deficit of approximately $13 million. Recent communications with members from the Board of Directors (August 17) indicate that leadership problems persist.
Objective: Establish strong and effective governance that ensures transparent, accountable, and member-focused decision-making.
Objective: Ensure that every member has access to high-quality services that are tailored to their needs and delivered efficiently and promptly.
Objective: Ensure that all decisions and financial operations are conducted transparently and ethically at all levels of the organization.
Objective: Protect and reinforce workers' rights to ensure fair and respectful working conditions by taking a stand on key issues and implementing concrete actions.
Objective: Strengthen equity and inclusion within the union to ensure an environment where all members feel not only valued but also actively supported.
Objective: Strengthen communication and collaboration to promote a culture of transparency and efficiency, ensuring that all voices are heard and valued.
This is my Survival and Recovery Plan for PIPSC, developed based on my 15 years of union leadership experience, my management expertise, and the publicly available information on the state of the organization. It is designed to revitalize our union by improving the quality of services provided to members, establishing responsible governance, and ensuring complete transparency in our operations.
Your support is crucial to saving our union. Together, we can modernize and revitalize PIPSC for a better future. Vote for Stéphane Aubry.
